Numerical Evaluation of Punching Shear Capacity Between Bonded and Unbonded Post-tensioned Slab Using Inverted-U Shape Reinforcement

Abstract The Both bonded and unbonded prestressing tendons may be used to reinforce post-tensioned (PT) concrete members. binding state of have an impact on how well different types PT elements function in flexural shear loads. Inverted-U shape reinforcement was experimentally enhance the behavior structural elements. obtained results confirmed proposed model’s accuracy for both slabs beams (bonded, unbonded). This study's major goal is compare numerically provided with inverted-U two tendon systems evaluate their performances due applying punching load. To do this, slab that has already been tested reexamined numerically. By using, a nonlinear finite element, were carried out utilizing visualization tools. For better study slabs, numerical results, previous experimental one are compared. Good correlations shown.
